Grief center names Miller executive director
GREELEY — Maria Miller, who has an extensive background in nonprofit leadership, strategic communications and program development, has been named executive director at the Community Grief Center in Greeley.
The center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2016, provides no-cost support, education and resources to individuals and families experiencing grief through support groups, outreach programs and educational workshops.
“I am deeply honored to join the Community Grief Center and contribute to the critical work of supporting those who are navigating life after loss,” Miller said in a prepared statement. “The center has already made such an impact in our community, and I look forward to working with the dedicated staff, volunteers, and partners to expand our programs and services.”

Most recently, Miller served as interim director of people operations and communications at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Greeley. She also founded the Miller-Warner Foundation and was executive director of the National Farmers Union Foundation. She also was founder and proprietor of Miller Insurance Agency in Loveland.
