Human Bean fundraiser to support the Matthews House

FORT COLLINS — On Thursday, Aug. 25, 10% of Human Bean sales made at the 1822 South College Ave. coffee shop in Fort Collins will be donated to the Matthews House, a nonprofit group that seeks to break cycles of poverty and abuse. 

Representatives from the Matthews House will be on site at the Human Bean from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Aug. 25 to share information with customers. 

“We are looking forward to supporting The Matthews House with our Guest Barista Day program because of the remarkable work it does for families and youth in our community,” Human Bean store owner Frank Sherman said in a prepared statement. “We hope to spread awareness of its important mission within the community.”
