Boulder Valley cities among plaintiffs suing Colorado over housing regs

DENVER — Six Front Range municipalities — including Lafayette and Westminster — are suing the state of Colorado over regulations supported by Gov. Jared Polis that are aimed at encouraging denser housing development, CPR News has reported.
The cities claim that a pair of bills related to residential density near transit and parking requirements violate home-rule statues and are unconstitutional.
