Three regional communities win tourism grants
DENVER — Three communities in Northern Colorado and the Boulder Valley have received matching marketing grants that statewide total $710,000.
Longmont, Estes Park and Fort Collins each received $40,000, the maximum allowed amount, to help them with their tourism marketing. Each community will be required to pony up at least $20,000 in order to receive the state assistance.
This grant program, established in 2001, awards funding to eligible applicants for projects that promote Colorado as a tourism destination.
