Greeley council to mull hotel, conference center pacts

The Greeley City Council is expected tonight to vote on agreements including a 60-year lease for developers of a $31 million downtown conference center and 147-room DoubleTree hotel.

According to the Greeley Tribune, the council also could vote on an $8.6 million advance for the planned hotel, and the assistant city manager says construction equipment could appear as soon as Wednesday if the council approves.
