Larimer Commissioners prepare review of county O&G rules

FORT COLLINS — The Larimer County Board of Commissioners will seek to strengthen restrictions on oil and gas developments in the county, a month after the group became solely occupied by Democrats.

The Loveland Reporter-Herald reports the board will seek to bring its rules in line with the more-strict set of regulations passed by the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission last fall, including a 2,000-foot setback between wells and human-occupied buildings and animal environments.
