Coroner: NewMark Merrill co-founder Ginsborg died of suicide
LOVELAND — The Larimer County Coroner ruled Allen Ginsborg’s death as a suicide after his body was found near Lon Hagler Reservoir last week.
In a statement, the coroner’s office said Ginsborg’s cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head.
Ginsborg was a co-founder and managing partner of commercial developer NewMark Merrill Mountain States. The firm’s projects include the co-development and leasing of the Target-anchored shopping district in Loveland’s Centerra area and the redevelopment of the Twin Peaks Mall into The Village at the Peaks in Longmont. It also has owned and operated shopping centers in Broomfield, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs and Arvada.
