Human Bean Northern Colorado donates to Finally Home

WINDSOR – Human Bean Northern Colorado raised more than $400 to Finally Home during its Dec. 5 guest barista day.

The coffee drive-thru company donated 10% of its Dec .5 sales at the 405 E. Main St., in Windsor to the nonprofit organization. With additional cash donations from customers, the event raised a total of $410.89, according to a news release.

Finally Home helps support foster, adoptive and kinship families with resources, training and peer support. Since their inception in 2008, the program has helped more than 1,500 families, according to the release.

Through Human Bean’s Guest Barista Day program representatives from a selected nonprofit serve as “guest baristas” for a couple of hours during the day at participating locations. They tell customers more about their mission, while distributing information. In addition to the 10% donated to the nonprofit, customers can make cash donations through the “Fill the Cup” campaign.
