Broncos, Empower Retirement reach Mile High naming rights agreement
DENVER — The Denver Broncos and Greenwood Village-based retirement plan provider Empower Retirement have reached a 21-year agreement to name the team’s stadium Empower Field at Mile High.
Financial terms of the deal, which is in place through the 2039 season and is pending approval by the Metropolitan Football Stadium District, were not immediately disclosed.
Empower is a subsidiary of Great–West Life & Annuity Insurance Co. The firm administers $638 billion in assets for 9.2 million retirement plan participants and more than 38,000 organizations.
