Hensel Phelps absorbs professional-development firm
GREELEY — Hensel Phelps Construction Co. has acquired Transcend, which the Greeley-based construction giant describes as “a leadership and organizational development firm specializing in leadership coaching, strategic planning and organizational design.”
The acquisition “underscores Hensel Phelps’ commitment to investing in its people. By expanding leadership development and coaching into CareerTREK, the company’s leadership, training and growth platform, Hensel Phelps is strengthening career pathways for employees at all levels throughout the business,” the company said in a news release.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
“Since 2022, Transcend has been a trusted partner in Hensel Phelps’ evolution, supporting the company with proven leadership programs and organizational strategies. Bringing Transcend in-house expands access to learning experiences, team coaching and advanced leadership capabilities–enhancing how Hensel Phelps develops talent and prepares its workforce for the future,” Hensel Phelps said.
Transcend CEO Craig Wiley will join Hensel Phelps as the firm’s chief strategy officer.
