Ralphie mascots memorialized by bobblehead HOF
BOULDER — The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum recently unveiled a pair of new bobbleheads featuring the likenesses University of Colorado’s live mascots Ralphie VII and her predecessor, Ralphie VI.
Nicknamed Brandy after the 1972 hit by the Looking Glass, Ralphie VII made her debut in September after the August retirement of Ralphie Vi, who was nicknamed Ember.
“Frequently named one of the best mascots in sports, Ralphie’s iconic run onto the field has been a big hit with CU fans for generations,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame CEO Phil Sklar said in a prepared statement. “These bobbleheads will be must-haves for CU supporters everywhere.”
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum is located in Milwaukee, but CU fans who can’t make the trek to Wisconsin can buy the officially licensed Ralphie bobbleheads on the museum’s website.
