Community Foundation of Northern Colorado turns 50, rebrands
FORT COLLINS — As it enters its 50th year of service, the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado is shortening its name to NoCo Foundation.
The foundation, a service provider for philanthropists and nonprofit organizations in the region, conducted informal research with its stakeholders and partners in late 2023, seeking guidance for a new strategic communications plan. According to Kristin Todd, the foundation’s president and CEO, “respondents said our name was too long, and our look and feel were not overly memorable. We took this feedback seriously and have slowly been replacing the full name, Community Foundation of Northern Colorado, with our nickname, NoCo Foundation.”
The foundation will celebrate “50 Years of Philanthropy” from May to November this year “with a look and feel that better represents who we are and where we are going,” Todd said, including a new name, new logo and tagline: “Community is our Business.”
