Thompson Thrift to develop 324-unit apartment complex in Longmont

LONGMONT — Thompson Thrift Residential, an Indianapolis-based development company, plans to build a 324-unit apartment complex in Longmont.

Heritage on Hover will be located near the intersection of Mountain Brook Drive and South Hover Street and will feature three-story buildings with one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments averaging almost 1,000 square feet.

Construction is expected to be completed by winter 2026.

Thompson Thrift apartments include quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, side-by-side refrigerators, full-size washers and dryers, large walk-in closets and multiple smart home capabilities. Select homes will feature cabinetry with soft-close doors, a deluxe closet system with shelving, premium lighting, a dry bar and advanced smart-home capabilities. Private patios, balconies, yards and detached garage options will also be available. 

Other amenities include an outdoor entertainment kitchen and grilling areas, a 24-hour fitness center, a heated swimming pool and spa, electric firepits with seating areas, a billiards and shuffleboard area, a dog park, bike storage and a Starbucks coffee bar. The development also will include communitywide Wi-Fi, an on-site service team and valet trash service.

Funding for the project was provided by Thompson Thrift 2024 Multifamily Development Fund LP.

Thompson Thrift has been active in Colorado for 11 years and has developed more than 4,700 units in the state. The company in 2022 opened an office in Westminster to serve the Front Range market.Thompson Thrift in July began construction on the 344-unit The Landing at Lemay in Fort Collins.
