Weld court dismisses one part of cases between trucking companies

KERSEY — A dispute between two trucking companies in the 34 Transportation Center east of Greeley in Kersey continues to make its way through court, with the court dismissing one claim for relief while another awaits either dismissal or trial.

The case is between Texas-based Peterbilt truck seller Rush Truck Centers of Colorado Inc. and Weld County resident and developer Craig Sparrow, along with the 34 Transportation Center Association, an organization that Sparrow controls.

Rush contends that Sparrow has harassed the Peterbilt dealership, made bogus environmental claims, stacked the board of the transportation association to favor his position and levied expenses…
