Local startups win economic development grants from state

A slew of startups in the Boulder Valley and Northern Colorado were approved for grants Thursday from Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade’s Advanced Industries Accelerator Grant Program.

In total, the state handed out $5.2 million in grants to 24 organizations. 

“Funding such a diverse cross-section of innovative Colorado companies continues to advance Colorado’s key industries and solidify our state’s reputation as an innovation incubator,” OEDIT senior manager of Advanced Industries Katie Woslager said in a prepared statement. “Innovation drives economic growth and these grants directly support Colorado’s vital innovation ecosystem.”
