Stodgy Brewing submits construction plans, sets opening for next summer

FORT COLLINS  — A new brewery plans to turn three lots just north of Fort Collins’ City Park into a taproom and patio.

Stodgy Brewing Co. LLC submitted a project development plan to city officials last week to redevelop 1800 and 1802 Laporte Ave. into a set of offices and a 5,637-square-foot taproom, and turn 1804 Laporte Ave. into a 23-space parking lot, according to city records.

Co-owner Tyler Olpin said Stodgy is forming as a neighborhood pub for northwest Fort Collins, an area he lives in and said doesn’t have enough entertainment options or gathering…
