Scout Clean Energy to build Minnesota project

BOULDER — Scout Clean Energy LLC, a Boulder company, will build a wind farm in Minnesota in 2021.

The 200-megawatt wind farm results from an agreement with the Minnesota Municipal Power Agency and will be built in Jackson County, Minnesota, in south central Minnesota.

According to a report in the Times-Call, the owner of the farm is a wholesaler energy supplier to multiple cities. The project will cost about $220 million, the report said.
