Longmont’s Anemoment expands European distribution

LONGMONT — Anemoment LLC, a specialized meteorological instrument design firm, is expanding its international distribution.

The Longmont company has named Sparv Embedded AB, a Swedish engineering firm, one of its authorized international distributors.

The agreement expands Anemoment’s European footprint and opens new opportunities for Sparv Embedded to enhance its position in the embedded market.

Anemoment makes small, light anemometers, which are wind sensors. Its product, the TriSonica Mini Wind and Weather Sensor, is a highly accurate tool used for atmospheric monitoring, weather reporting, turbulence calculations and ecosystem research. It’s well-suited for portable, temporary…
