Weld United Way names 5 new board members

GREELEY — United Way of Weld County has announced the appointment of five new members to its board of directors: Lisa Hudson, Pam Hungenberg, Beth Longenecker, Juana Martinez and Kent Naughton.

Hudson, executive director of the East Colorado Small Business Development Center since 2017, has more than 14 years of experience in supporting small-business owners.

Hungenberg has a long career in educational leadership and ran Hungenberg Produce before retiring.

Longenecker is founding dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine, being developed at the University of Northern Colorado.

Martinez is a community advocate with a strong background in network development

and community engagement.

Attorney Naughton has been on the staff of the Witwer Oldenburg Barry and Groom LLP law firm since 2007 and a partner there since 2012.

“We are thrilled to welcome Lisa, Pam, Beth, Juana and Kent to our board of directors,” Melanie Woolman, president and CEO of United Way of Weld County, said in a prepared statement. “Their combined expertise and eagerness to serve the community will strengthen our efforts to create lasting change in Weld County.”
