Burlington to join other retailers at Greeley Commons

GREELEY — The Greeley Commons Shopping Center will be a new home for Burlington Stores beginning this November.

Greeley Commons is located at the southwest corner of 47th Avenue and U.S. Highway 34. The store will join Michaels, Big5, Old Navy, Petco, Sprouts and other retailers at that location. The shopping center will be 94% occupied once Burlington opens.

In Northern Colorado, it will be the third Burlington store with others at Johnstown and Fort Collins.

Tenant improvements have begun, according to a city of Greeley press release, to convert the former Bed, Bath & Beyond space to a new store. “Despite several anticipated delays in the national supply chain for construction materials, the new store is anticipated to open by Thanksgiving this year,” the release said.

The shopping center is owned by Jerico, New York-based Kimco Realty Corp., which specializes in open-air, grocery-anchored centers. Greeley Commons offers 138,818 square feet of retail space. The Burlington store will occupy 27,974 square feet of that.
