Naked runner hits trail in crowdfunding drive

BOULDER – Move Sport Inc. wants to raise $20,000 with a crowdfunding campaign that features an online video of a mostly naked Olympic runner.

Olympic athlete Roberto Mandje wears calf-compression sleeves made by Boulder-based Move Sport, his running shoes and nothing else for a promotional video on the IndieGogo.com crowdfunding website. You can watch it at http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/recofit-compression-gear.

“Without my RecoFit compression sleeves, I feel naked,” Mandje says in the short video. The runner was paid an undisclosed “modeling fee” to make the video, said Susan Eastman Walton, owner of Move Sport, doing business as RecoFit Compression Gear.
