Lightning Systems raised $41 million out of its 46 million offering Tuesday from several of its previous investors, along with private equity firm Cupola Infrastructure Income Fund LLLP. The Loveland-based company builds and installs electric powertrains on commercial vehicles.

Boulder-based pet food maker Bond Pet Foods raised $1.2 million in seed funding. The company mainly intends to use the funds for research into plant-based meat alternatives for dog and cat food.
