Webroot reports double-digit growth in fiscal year

BROOMFIELD — Webroot Inc., a cybersecurity company based in Broomfield, has reported 12 percent annual recurring revenue growth for its fiscal year ending on June 30. The growth marks the company’s 18th consecutive quarter of double-digit gains.

Webroot’s business segment annual revenue growth grew by 25 percent, and its consumer segment grew by 6 percent. Both were higher than industry measures for those segments.

Webroot also reported that it ended the fiscal year with 12,800 managed service providers, up from 9,400 at the end of the 2017 fiscal year.

“Webroot continues to achieve record growth because we deliver what the market needs — advanced, reliable cybersecurity protection that is easy to deploy and use. Small- to medium-sized companies are struggling with the ever-changing threat landscape, and in 2018 we added two new solutions — DNS Protection and Security Awareness Training — to provide essential layers of defense,” Mike Potts, CEO of Webroot, said in a prepared statement..
