OtterBox ventures beyond phone cases with line of rugged coolers

FORT COLLINS — OtterBox is debuting a new product, and this time it has nothing to do with phone cases.

The Fort Collins outdoor manufacturer is getting into the rugged-cooler business, competing with well-known favorites such as Yeti and Rtic.

The new Venture coolers are designed to be bear-resistant, hold ice for up to 14 days and are drop-tested for every side, both empty and full.
