Love’s moves ahead with Berthoud truck stop

BERTHOUD — Construction will begin this spring on a Love’s Travel Stop on the southwest quadrant of Interstate 25 and Colorado Highway 56. The Loveland Reporter-Herald reports that the long-anticipated project will be completed by the end of 2017.

BizWest reported in August 2015 that Oklahoma-based Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. had purchased 20 acres at the site, with plans to open the location by summer 2016. The $7.5 million project is slated to include a country store, tire-care center, a fuel station for big rigs, showers, a pair of fast-food restaurants and a hotel.
