Mountain ‘backdrop’ info now on-line
BOULDER — Information about a project to protect Colorado’s mountain “backdrop” from the Wyoming border to Pike’s Peak, west of Colorado Springs, is now on-line.
The new Front Range Mountain Backdrop site, funded by Great Outdoors Colorado, was developed by representatives from Boulder, Larimer, Jefferson, Douglas and El Paso counties, all members of the backdrop project. The goal is to keep scenic and ecological integrity of Front Range mountains.
