Energy Center offers conservation advice

BOULDER — The Boulder Energy Conservation Center, or BECC, protects the environmental impacts of energy use by offering residents and businesses information about energy efficiency, water conservation and waste reduction.

BECC weatherizes homes for low- to middle-income residents with grants from the Community Development Block Grant, the Colorado Energy Assistance Foundation and donations made through the Public Service Co.. BECC also provides the public with energy audits, E-Star ratings, furnace tune-ups and weatherization.

For businesses, BECC can help reduce waste and save money by suggesting specific programs offered by the City of Boulder and Boulder County’s PACE program. For information, or to receive the quarterly publication, EcoHome, call 441-3278.
