Fort Collins’ Weitkunat seeks re-election

FORT COLLINS — Fort Collins Mayor Karen Weitkunat announced Wednesday that she will run for re-election in April.

Weitkunat was first elected in 2011 and is so far the only person to announce her candidacy for the position.

The city election will take place on April 2.

In addition to the mayoral race, the April 2 ballot will include three City Council seats.
