Animal Friends Alliance launches February Fix Fest

FORT COLLINS — Animal Friends Alliance has launched February Fix Fest, a monthlong fundraiser and awareness campaign to promote spaying and neutering of pets to prevent overpopulation.

This year’s campaign includes the theme, “Snip happens — but unplanned litters don’t have to.”

Animal Friends Alliance seeks to raise $44,075 to fund programs, including spay/neuter surgeries for shelter animals and essential medical equipment for their public-subsidized spay/neuter clinic. Loveland resident Cyndi Brown of Loveland is offering a $10,000 match during the campaign.

In 2025, the Alliance fixed 8,221 dogs and cats through their community veterinary clinic and animal shelter, and by assisting community cats through TNR (trap-neuter-return).

Individuals can participate by::

● Purchasing Fix Fest swag, including shirts and crewneck sweaters. Purchases help fund spay/neuter surgeries.

● Sponsoring a surgery.

● Donating directly to help purchase medical equipment and fund subsidized clinic programs
