Boulder firms added to NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts program
WASHINGTON — Leaders from a pair of Boulder companies were recently among 15 selected to participate in the NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts program, which the space agency said is meant to nurture “innovation by funding early-stage technology concept studies for future consideration and potential commercialization.”
The Boulder participants are ThinkOrbital Inc.’s Ryan Benson and Tentguild Engineering Co.’s Gyula Greschik.
Companies in the NIAC program have access to more than $2.6 million in grant funding “to evaluate technologies that could enable future aerospace missions,” NASA said.
