Colorado zips past California in electric car-sales share
New car buyers in Colorado chose electric models for 25.3% of total vehicle purchases in the third quarter of 2024, good for the highest percentage in the nation.
In California, electric vehicles made up 24.3% of new car purchases, according to a Denver Post report, which cited a report from the Northeast States for Coordinated Air Use Management.
