Grant helps launch hospitality career advancement program
FORT COLLINS — The Northern Colorado Hospitality Sector Partnership and the Online Restaurant Academy have launched a comprehensive digital program designed to equip participants with the skills, knowledge and experience needed to excel in the local hospitality industry.
The program was boosted by a Strong Sectors Good Jobs grant from the Colorado Workforce Development Council with funds from the Federal Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act.
The course, created by local industry leaders, focuses on industry expectations for career advancement in retail, restaurant and hotel job opportunities in Northern Colorado. Whether participants are looking to advance in their current company or transition to a new position within the industry, the program is designed to provide them with the tools they need to succeed. It also is available for Spanish-speaking learners.
