Loveland to eye new homeless-shelter code
LOVELAND — The Loveland City Council on Tuesday night will take a second vote on an amendment to the development code that would create a new land use for homeless shelters.
According to the Loveland Reporter-Herald, city staffers have made some changes to the code since the measure gained first-reading approval on June 4 including requiring a safety and security plan if the facility is within 500 feet of a school.
