Voice of the CU Buffs Zimmer dead at 88
BOULDER — Larry Zimmer, nicknamed the “Voice of the Buffalos” for his four decades calling University of Colorado basketball and football games on the radio, died on Saturday at 88.
Zimmer was inducted into the Broadcast Pioneers of Colorado Hall of Fame in 2009, according to the Boulder Daily Camera.
