Ball Aerospace wins 2 more study contracts from NOAA
BROOMFIELD — Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp., a division of Broomfield-based Ball Corp. (NYSE: BALL), will conduct two 20-month studies for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
One study will measure atmospheric composition and one will measure ocean color.
Overall, three 20-month studies have been awarded to Ball for NOAA’s next-generation constellation of geostationary weather satellites to address operational environmental prediction requirements, according to a press statement from Ball.
