Techstars selects EforAll Longmont for Accelerate Equity program
LONGMONT — Techstars Foundation has selected EforAll Longmont as one of four nonprofit organizations to join its Accelerate Equity program for July to September.
The partnership is intended to amplify the impact of EforAll Longmont by leveraging Techstars’ network of mentors, donors and resources. It will enable the Techstars Foundation “to further its mission to invest in the empowerment of underestimated entrepreneurs throughout the region,’” according to a press statement announcing the partnership..
From July 1 through Sept. 30, the Techstars Foundation is raising funds on behalf of EforAll Longmont. At the end of the quarter, the foundation will match 20% of all funds raised to directly support EforAll entrepreneurs in Colorado.

EforAll Longmont is a nonprofit organization that partners with communities nationwide to help under-represented individuals start and grow a business through business training, mentorship and an extended professional support network.
Since the program launched in Longmont in 2019, 55 new businesses have participated in EforAll Longmont accelerator programs, with 75% female-owned, 66% BIPOC-owned and 54% immigrant-owned.
The organization launched its Spanish-language accelerator program, EparaTodos Longmont, in 2021.
As part of Accelerate Equity, EforAll Longmont entrepreneurs and leadership have access to the Techstars global mentor network and resources to support accelerator program participants and alumni.
“Entrepreneurship in the United States is increasingly diverse, reflecting the country as a whole, but our system to support diverse entrepreneurs is lagging,” Seth Levine, chairman and nominating donor for EforAll Longmont, said in a prepared statement. “EforAll plays such a critical role in helping foster the next generation of entrepreneurs in our community.”

This partnership directly supports our work to remove barriers to business ownership, and by doing so actively builds a more inclusive entrepreneurial community throughout our region.”
