Broadband ‘art of the possible’ on display at CableLabs in Louisville
LOUISVILLE — In the near future, internet users will have access to speeds in excess of 10 times those offered by today’s commercially available broadband networks, and Louisville is home to an organization dedicated to making that happen.
CableLabs, a local nonprofit research and development consortium that helps cable operators and vendors integrate new technology into marketable services, brought in representatives this week from across the telecommunications space to demonstrate the technology of the future as part of its first CableLabs 10G Showcase.
