GTC taps new president, forms executive committee
LONGMONT — Golden Triangle Construction Inc., a Longmont-based commercial general contractor, has named longtime company vice president Todd Schroeder its new president.
Schroeder is taking over the position from the retiring Brian Laartz, according to a GTC news release. Laartz will remain a member of the company’s board until the end of 2019.
In addition to appointing Schroeder to a new position, GTC announced it is forming an executive committee, which will be led by Schroeder, Laartz, GTC CEO Jeff Nading, vice president of preconstruction services Jamison Martin, and executive vice president Joe Vasbinder.

“The announcement of Todd Schroeder as president and the executive committee leadership transition has been a six-year process in anticipation of my retirement at the end of 2019,” said Laartz said in a prepared statement. “I am confident that this team will move GTC forward for the next 35 years.”
