Developers break ground on $12 million Fort Collins self-storage facility

FORT COLLINS — Developers have broken ground on a 100,000-square-foot, three-story, self-storage building in Fort Collins that will have 779 climate-controlled units.

Jeff Temple and James Temple, principals of Momentum Development Fort Collins, are building the $12 million project on 6.3 acres at 1057 S. Buckingham St., just off North Lemay Avenue, behind Fort Collins Brewery.

Windsor-based design/builder firm McCauley Constructors Inc. is teaming with Galloway USA, an architect and engineering firm, for the project that is expected to be complete by early summer 2018.

A local, experienced solar installer will help you navigate the complexities of commercial solar to achieve financial success for your project.

Momentum Fort Collins Self Storage will have an on-site customer-service center that will include free Wi-Fi and a self-serve coffee bar.

“We chose the location after extensive analysis of data from the Fort Collins market,” said Jeff Temple. “Fort Collins is growing very quickly. Our location is not only on brewery row, making the end of our work days more fun, but is close to new apartment and single-family construction. … Once completed, we plan on going with Cube Smart as our manager. They offer the professional management expertise that will set us apart and make us super successful.”
