Dick’s Sporting Goods to take Sports Authority space at Foothills mall

One of three Fort Collins stores left vacant in the wake of Sports Authority’s bankruptcy and liquidation earlier this year has a new tenant lined up.

The Coloradoan reports that Dick’s Sporting Goods is slated to lease the 30,000-square-foot store at the redeveloped Foothills mall that Sporting Goods had planned to open in before going out of business. That leaves a 45,000-square-foot store at Front Range Village and a 26,000-square-foot store at 425 S. College Ave. — where developer McWhinney plans to bring in a grocery store — left to fill.
