Longmont city council to weigh Fairgrounds Marketplace annexation
There is movement once again on a potential annexation of land just north of The Home Depot in Longmont that has failed multiple times in the past.
The Times-Call reports that the Longmont city council on Tuesday night will consider an annexation of the 30-acre parcel on the west side of Hover Road, just across from the Boulder County Fairgrounds. Developers are aiming to build a mixed-use project dubbed Fairgrounds Marketplace that would include retail space as well as up to 350 apartments, among other potential uses.
