Boulder-based Agribotix, founded in 2013, provides cloud-based analysis of data gathered from fields via drones to help farmers optimize their use of things such as fertilizer and herbicides to increase crop yields and profits. Eco BCG, meanwhile, is a multinational company that provides clean technologies for business operations and agricultural production.

The new deal gives Agribotix a foothold in Latin America’s substantial agriculture industry.

“It rapidly extends our platform in one of the world’s critical agricultural regions,” Faust said in a prepared statement. “Just a few weeks into our launch, the joint venture has already signed nearly a dozen customers. It’s indicative of how ag intelligence is being embraced globally, and Agribotix is playing an emerging leadership role in that growth.”
