Colorado Corn Growers Association offering internships

The Colorado Corn Growers Association (CCGA) has a public policy internship opportunity in Denver for juniors or seniors during the Spring Semester 2015.

CCGA, along with the Colorado Corn Administrative Committee, works on behalf of more than 4,000 corn producers through market development, communications, research and technical assistance.

This unpaid internship will allow a student to get involved in the legislative process and learn about policy development and relationship building in the agricultural industry, under the direction of the CCGA lobbyist, said Ann Cross, staff member of CCGA.

The intern will be expected to attend committee meetings two or three times a week, for approximately two to four hours per week.

The deadline for applications is Oct. 30, 2014. For more information about the internship opportunity, visit http://coloradocorn.com/public-policy.
