Porter Industries plans to move in October

LOVELAND – Janitorial services company Porter Industries LLC plans to move its headquarters within Loveland this October.

The company, owned by Ken and Michelle Sargent, will move to 11,128 square feet of space at 129 South Madison Ave. It is moving from 5202 Granite St., which has about 9,000 square feet.

The Sargents, longtime employees of the 47-year-old company, bought it in 2012 from Bob and Marilyn Stone, who had acquired the company from its founders, Glen and Patti Porter, in 1997.

Commercial Solar is a big investment, but not an overwhelming one

Solar offers a significant economic benefit for commercial property owners while also positively impacting the environment and offering a path to compliance for new municipal requirements like Energize Denver. A local, experienced solar installer will help you navigate the complexities of commercial solar to achieve financial success for your project.

The company, which has about 180 employees, focuses on commercial and residential customers including the cleaning of controlled environments such as clean rooms and data centers. It also specializes in cleaning and restoration of carpets, windows and floors.

Ken Sargent said the new space’s mix of office and storage is better suited for the company. “We need more room for equipment and vehicles, and less for offices,” he said. The Stones had built the building at 5202 Granite to house Porter Industries, and sold it to Westminster-based WSA Fraternal Life in 2009 and began leasing the space.

Bruce Campbell of Realtec represented Porter Industries. Cole Herk and Jared Goodman of Cassidy Turley represented the landlord, Eagle Crest Development LLC.
