SendGrid approved for $60,000 in city rebates

BOULDER – SendGrid Inc., a provider of cloud-based email delivery services, has been approved to receive up to $60,000 in rebates from the city of Boulder for sales and use taxes, and permit-related fees.

The rebates will be issued through city’s flexible rebate program, a business-retention tool to help primary employers remain and grow in Boulder.

Founded in Boulder in 2009 by three graduates of the TechStars program, the company has grown to 240 employees serving more than 175,000 companies and delivering 13 billion nonspam emails each month.  The company moved its headquarters into a remodeled 20,000-square-foot space at 1401 Walnut St.…
