Colorado exports on track for record high

Colorado’s exports of manufactured, agricultural and mineral products are on pace to reach more than $8.6 billion in annual export sales revenue, a record high.

Export levels were up by 6 percent in the first half of 2013 when compared to the same period in 2012, according to a release from the Office of Economic Development and International Trade.

“Exports continue to help strengthen Colorado’s economy,´ said Ken Lund, executive director of OEDIT. “Selling more Colorado-made goods in international markets means more jobs in Colorado.”
