Fort Collins seeking input on Lincoln Corridor

The City of Fort Collins will host an event to gain public input on the future of the Lincoln Corridor. The event will take place June 18 at the Community Room located at 215 North Mason Street. There will be four sessions throughout the day from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Participants can register online at www.fcgov.com/Lincoln or contact Lori Bichler at 970-221-6705.

The Lincoln Corridor planning exercise is a 12-month process of working with the public to develop corridor vision and street design. The street is being redesigned to accommodate new development along the corridor. City planners are hoping for a design that will improve the appearance of the Lincoln Corridor as well.

“We want to provide a more attractive entryway for the street heading into downtown,” says Pete Wray, a senior city planner for the city of Fort Collins and co-manager for the redesign project.
