BOULDER – The city’s energy policy is up for discussion in a slate of upcoming forums.

Last year, Boulder City Council members declined to renew a 20-year franchise agreement with Xcel Energy Co. Now, the city is considering options for how its power grid should be run in the future.

Four meetings are scheduled. A morning meeting from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, June, 8, will kick off the series at Boulder’s Dinner Theater, 5501 Arapahoe Ave. That day, there also will be an afternoon meeting from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Namaste Solar, 4571 Broadway.
