August housing sales sluggish
FORT COLLINS – Northern Colorado housing sales are slugging along,
dropping in all three major cities during August, which real estate
agents had predicted in the wake of the federal homebuyers tax credit
that ended in June.
For the month, sales of single-family homes were down the most in Fort
Collins at 30 percent, followed by Loveland/Berthoud at 25 percent and
Greeley at 24 percent, according to market statistics compiled by Keller
Williams in Fort Collins.
