CSU, CPAs launch joint venture
Initiatives will double size of Exec. MBA program
DENVER — Colorado State University and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants are launching a joint venture to recruit accountants for the university’s Executive MBA program.
The two are recruiting accountants with at least eight years of work experience for an Executive MBA program that begins this fall. The idea is to help technical people move into management.
“There’s only four or five other states who are doing this,´ said Don Samelson, chairman of CSU’s accounting department. “Clearly, we’re a leader.”
